TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

BarIno™ TriSalix™Triple-Salt Abiotic Agarwood Inducer

1. Product Overview

BarIno™ TriSalix™ is a specialized, triple-action chemical inoculant developed to induce agarwood resin formation in Aquilaria trees. By combining three stress-inducing salts—Ferric Chloride (FeCl₃)Magnesium Chloride (MgCl₂), and Sodium Chloride (NaCl)—the formulation activates defense mechanisms and accelerates oleoresin accumulation through oxidative, ionic, and osmotic stress pathways.

2. Product Composition

ComponentConcentration (% w/v)Function
Ferric Chloride (FeCl₃)2.5%Oxidative catalyst, lignin modulator
Magnesium Chloride (MgCl₂)1.5%Enzyme co-factor, signal activator
Sodium Chloride (NaCl)3.0%Osmotic stress inducer
Purified Waterq.s. to 100%Solvent
  • pH Range: 3.5 – 4.5
  • Form: Water-based sterile solution
  • Color: Pale yellow or transparent
  • Odor: Slightly saline
  • Packaging: 1 Liter HDPE bottle

3. Mode of Action

TriSalix™ initiates abiotic stress responses in the tree’s vascular cambium by:

  • Causing oxidative damage that simulates pathogen presence.
  • Disrupting ion homeostasis and inducing physiological drought.
  • Promoting defensive secondary metabolite production.
  • Triggering wound compartmentalization and agarwood pathway activation.

4. Target Species

  • Primary: Aquilaria malaccensis
  • Minimum Tree Age: 5 years
  • Minimum DBH: ≥10 cm
