Streamlining WCuP Registration for Small-Scale Agarwood Farmers
Registering a Wood Culture Permit (WCuP) as an individual small-scale Agarwood farmer can be costly and complex, often limiting opportunities for maximizing profits. To address this challenge, we offer an extended WCuP arrangement, allowing growers to operate under the primary permit holder. This approach reduces expenses, simplifies bureaucratic procedures, and removes investment barriers, making it easier for farmers to focus on cultivation and revenue generation.
This option is particularly beneficial for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who own Agarwood plantations but are unable to manage local regulatory requirements directly.
For growers with the financial capacity to establish and maintain a company, we encourage you to apply for your own WCuP to maximize independence and business growth.
Notes on the Documentary Requirements:
- Item no. 1 – DENR Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Certificate of Non Coverage (CNC). Applicant has to submit TCT/Tax Dec together with Long Term Contract of Lease if applicable.
- Item no. 1.1 – Site Development Plan has to be signed-off by Licensed/Registered Architect/Engineer.
- Item no. 2 – Business Name Registration. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for One Person Corporation to less than Five incorporators or the regular 5 or more incorporators.
- Item no. 2.1 – Board Resolution of your intention to apply for the WCuP.
- Item no. 2.2 – 2.3 is part of Business Registration requisites.
- Item no. 3 – DENR prescribed WCuP application form
- Item no. 3.2 – Propagation Plan required a Nursery Design Lay-out..
- Item no. 3.3 – Scientific Expertise required a Seminar/Training Certificate attended relevance to the matter.
- Item no. 3.4 – Geotagging, use the prescribed geotagging app provided by the DENR.
- Item no. 3.6 – Permit holders must submit annual reports on their operations, harvests, and sales.
- Allocation of Inoculant based on the actual purchase of one stock policy compliance of grower.
- Included in the Product Inventory List means harvest is part of Agarwood Inventory from every investor/grower. Sure market for the product, Oud Chips.
