Aquilaria parvifolia is a native agarwood producing species from thymelaeaceae family called Butlong-liitan as local name. A. parvifolia is an evergreen shrub growing around 1 metre tall as the smallest among the species with almost color red fruits and the leaves are the same with Aquilaria cumingiana called Butlo.
The specimen is growing since year 2019 at Putz Agarwood Farm Corporation’s Nalihawan Agarwood Farm in Antique as one of the Four (4) Aquilaria species thriving in the 20+ hectares forested area.
We want to propagate this more for conservation and distribution as an ornamental plant in the garden but not so lucky since 2019 blooming. This is a good specimen for display during exhibitions.
