GOALS

  • To offer internationally-recognized academic programs in both the undergraduate and graduate level
  • To be robust in the Humanities, Arts and the Sciences; focusing on both the Basic and Applied Sciences to be prepared for the 4th and 5th Industrial Revolution
  • To build a coherent, integrated long-term Development / Master plan for the university across the campuses providing a clear direction and defined course of action in the light of the socio-economic context of the locality and the region
  • To provide effective and efficient student, faculty and staff services, administrative procedures and governance/ administration in support of the pursuit of academic excellence and a healthy academic life
  • To create a vibrant Research Culture in the university where knowledge-generation through discovery, creative research, finding innovative solutions and meaningful collaboration are supported and a way of life
  • To be innovative by creating high-impact academic Centers that will work across the research and community extension continuum and by emphasizing the value of research utilization and commercialization
