Various Forms

Agarwood in its various forms; oil, wood, powder, plant etc. has been used for many health benefits and treatment of various illness. For thousands of years, agarwood has been used for medicinal purposes and continues to be used in Ayurvedic, Tibetan and traditional East Asian medicine.

AGARWOOD

Agarwood is the heartwood produced Aquilaria malaccensis in Southeast Asia, with Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos and Papua New Guinea as the main producing countries and Singapore being the main trade centre. The resin-impregnated heartwood is fragrant and, as a result, highly valuable.

OUD OIL (AGARWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL EXTRACT)

Known as oud (or oudh), it comes from the wood of the Southeast Asian agar (aquilaria) tree. When the wood becomes infected with a particular type of mold, the tree reacts by producing a dark, scented resin, which is often called “liquid gold.”The cheapest oud oil is distilled from aloeswood that costs as little as $20 a kilogram, while the finest oud was distilled from wood that today has a starting price of $50,000 per kilogram.

AGARWOOD LEAF

Agarwood tea is meant to be drank on a daily basis in order to obtain and maintain long lasting health benefits. The tea is a detoxifier that is a natural and safe way to flush and eliminate harmful toxins from your body. Whether you drink the tea hot or cold, you will receive the same health benefits. Agarwood removes mercury from your system, which reduces the risk of mercury related neurological disorders and works to prevent the aging of your skin.

AGARWOOD POWDER

As decent quality agarwood chips are expensive, powders made from these chips are just as expensive, if not more expensive due to the costly losses in the grinding process.
