Barino™ AgarStart™ is a specialized agarwood inoculant blend formulated to activate and accelerate the formation of high-quality resin in Aquilaria trees through a scientifically balanced combination of Ferric Chloride (FeCl₃) and Salicylic Acid.
This dual-action formula mimics natural stress responses by triggering the tree’s defense mechanisms, leading to enhanced resin biosynthesis. It is ideal for controlled artificial inoculation protocols where fast, consistent, and high-yield results are desired.
Key Ingredients:
- Ferric Chloride (FeCl₃) – Acts as a chemical stressor that oxidizes wood tissues and promotes resin deposition through cellular disruption.
- Salicylic Acid – A plant hormone known to induce systemic acquired resistance (SAR), triggering the natural defense pathways that stimulate agarwood resin production.

Application Guide:
- Method: Drill boreholes at recommended spacing (15–20 cm apart around trunk), inject 10–20 mL per hole using syringe or pressurized system.
- Timing: Apply during dry season or when tree is 5+ years old and ≥ 10 cm DBH (Diameter at Breast Height).
- Frequency: Single inoculation or repeated after 6–12 months depending on desired resin density.
